HF Holidays Harrington House is a Grade II listed, Georgian-style country house on Sherborne Street in Bourton-on-the-Water, a short walk from the centre of the village.
It is run by HF Holidays as a base for walking holidays, and most guests come on one of its guided or self-guided breaks rather than for a single night.
Guided holidays include breakfast, a packed lunch for the day's walk, a three-course dinner in the evening and a cream tea on arrival, with daily walks led by HF's own leaders. Rooms are spread between the main house, two cottages and a garden annexe; the HF Holidays website lists the current room types and holiday dates.
The house is well placed for walkers. Paths lead out of the village along the Windrush valley to Lower Slaughter or Upper Slaughter, and the Gloucestershire Way passes nearby. In the village itself, the Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection is about 125 metres away, The Model Village about 260 metres, and Birdland Park and Gardens roughly 520 metres, with the River Windrush and its low footbridges a couple of minutes' walk.
