A one-ninth scale replica of Bourton-on-the-Water, built in the garden behind the Old New Inn and opened in 1937.
The honey-stone miniatures were cut from the same quarries as the real village, and the River Windrush runs through the model as it does through the street outside. It has been listed Grade II since 2013 — a listed model of a listed village, including a model of the model itself.
It takes well under an hour, which makes it a good pairing with something larger rather than a day in itself. No booking is needed; payment is by card only.
