The Old Manse Hotel is a Cotswold-stone inn on Victoria Street in Bourton-on-the-Water, built in 1748 and now run by Greene King Inns.
It sits beside the River Windrush, and its terrace looks out over the water.
There are fifteen en-suite rooms decorated in a traditional style. On the ground floor is a pub and restaurant serving real ales and wines with British pub classics such as steaks, sausage and mash, fish and chips and pies, plus a full English or continental breakfast for guests. Breakfast runs from 8am to 10am, evening meals are served until 9pm (8pm on Sundays), and the hotel has its own car park.
Dogs are welcome, with some conditions: only three rooms take dogs, they must be booked in advance, and dogs are allowed in the bar but not in the restaurant, so ask for a dog-friendly table if you want to eat with yours.
The hotel is in the heart of the village. The Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection is about 65 metres away, The Model Village about 250 metres and Birdland Park and Gardens roughly 570 metres.
