Winchcombe is the sort of small Cotswold town where you can leave the car once and spend the rest of the day on foot. If you'd rather stay central, The Wesley is a straightforward choice for lunch, and The Lodge at Winchcombe is worth knowing about if the day stretches into an overnight stop.
