Driffield is a small, quiet place, and the pleasure of it lies in what sits within an easy couple of miles rather than in the village itself. Within that radius you'll find a dozen places to eat and drink, three places to visit, three activity providers, a couple of places to stay and a handful of useful services, which makes this good ground for a slow half-day rather than a rushed tick-list. It suits visitors who like church interiors, farm shops and a walk between the two, and who don't mind a short drive or cycle between stops. If you're staying nearby, it works well as a base for pottering.
A good few hours might begin at St Mary, then take in St Michael & All Angels, both worth the detour if you enjoy village churches and the stories attached to them. From there, head to Butts Farm Tea Room for something to eat, or make for The Wild Olive Cafe and pick up supplies next door at The Wild Olive Farm Shop. The Harnhill Centre of Christian Healing adds another dimension if that interests you, and it's worth checking ahead for opening times before you set off.
