The Wildings Campsite

in Bourton-on-the-Water

The Wildings Campsite, run as Wildings Holidays, is a rural campsite and glamping site on the Lankett, on the edge of Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds National Landscape.

The village is about a fifteen-minute walk away.

Camping here is car-free: vehicles are parked separately from the field, so there are no cars driving between pitches. The grass pitches are generous, about 9 metres square and big enough for up to six people, but they have no electric hook-up, so this is a site for tents rather than caravans and motorhomes. For those who would rather not bring a tent, there are camping pods, bell tents, tipis, yurts and cabins.

Campers share the Cookhouse, a communal space with a full kitchen, fridges, sofas, games and books, and the site has its own farm shop stocked with the essentials, a coffee shop and a small old-fashioned sweet shop. Dogs are welcome on the pitches and in the pods.

Walking into the village, Birdland Park and Gardens is about 1.4 kilometres from the site, with the Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection and The Model Village close beyond it.
