The Mousetrap Inn is an independent freehouse in a 19th-century inn on Lansdowne, on the northern side of Bourton-on-the-Water, a few minutes' walk from the village centre.

It combines a pub, a restaurant and eleven individually designed bedrooms.
The bar pours craft beers including Hawkstone and Hook Norton, and the kitchen serves comforting, hearty food. Note the restaurant times: breakfast is served every day from 8am to 10am, but from Monday to Thursday food is evening-only (5pm to 8.30pm), with lunch and dinner from noon on Friday and Saturday and from noon to 7pm on Sunday. The inn recommends booking a table for the restaurant. The bar opens from 3pm on weekdays and from noon at weekends.
Staying here puts you on the quieter edge of the village. The Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection is about 300 metres away, The Model Village about 590 metres and Birdland Park and Gardens roughly 940 metres, all an easy walk, with the River Windrush and the village green in between.
