Lucy's Tearoom is a family-run tearoom on The Square in Stow-on-the-Wold, in a Grade II listed building which, by its own account, is 300 years old.
Opening hours
- Mon–Fri
- 10:00–16:00
- Sat, Sun
- 9:30–16:00
It serves breakfast until midday, then light lunches, homemade cakes, toasted teacakes, cream teas and afternoon tea. The afternoon tea comes on a tiered stand with sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, a choice of cakes, and loose-leaf tea or coffee.
The menu includes vegan and gluten-free options, and the tearoom asks you to mention any special dietary needs when you order. Takeaway is available. Dogs are welcome inside, and there is ice cream for them too.
Tables can't be booked: seating is first come, first served, so you may have to wait at busy times. The kitchen takes last orders at 3.30pm.
The business also has two ensuite bed and breakfast rooms, which are booked through the tearoom's own website.
