Just outside Bourton-on-the-Water, this campsite offers a relaxed base for exploring the Cotswolds.

It's primarily set up as a carp fishing destination with several lakes, making it ideal if you want some peaceful angling, though you don't need to be an experienced fisherman to enjoy it. The site has camping pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes, so accommodation is straightforward to arrange.

The real advantage is proximity to Bourton-on-the-Water itself. You can walk or cycle into the village easily, where the River Windrush flows through and is crossed by a series of low bridges. It's a pleasant place to wander around, have a meal, or browse the shops. If you fancy something more structured, the village also has the Model Village and Birdland.

Being based here puts you in a good position for exploring further afield. Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford are both within reasonable reach, so you can venture out to see more of the Cotswolds without needing to relocate your campsite. It works well as a practical spot if you want to combine some fishing or quiet time outdoors with access to village amenities and the chance to discover what else the region has to offer.
