The Priory is a café and tearoom on Burford's High Street, set in a 17th-century building with a garden tucked away behind it.

It aims for home-cooked food at reasonable prices with a friendly welcome, and it is open seven days a week.
Breakfast is served all day, including the Priory full English, alongside lunches such as farmhouse, sourdough and gluten-free sandwiches, baked potatoes, soups and breakfast burgers. In the afternoon there are traditional afternoon teas and cream teas, cakes, teacakes and ice creams, with a full range of teas and coffees. Food can be taken away, the kitchen will cater for dietary requirements if you ask, and families with children are welcome.
The Priory also offers somewhere to stay: five guest bedrooms, and two self-catering holiday cottages, Little Priory Cottage and Priory Weavers Cottage, each a short walk from the High Street.
