Just outside Evesham, this working farm shop sits at the heart of the region's agricultural story.
The town's prosperity was built on market gardening, and you can still see that tradition going strong here.
Everything focuses on what's in season and freshly harvested. Spring brings Evesham asparagus, something locals genuinely get excited about and worth planning a trip around. As the year moves on, you'll find plums and apples taking over the shelves. Alongside the produce, there are locally reared meats, farmhouse cheeses, bread baked fresh, and jars of preserves and other staples sourced from farms across the Cotswolds and Worcestershire.
It's the sort of place where you can stock up on proper ingredients if you're renting somewhere nearby, or grab excellent local food to take back home with you. Evesham itself is only a short drive away and worth a proper explore. The town sits on the Avon, and you can visit what remains of the Benedictine Abbey that once dominated the landscape, plus enjoy the river walks. If you're planning a wider tour of the area, Broadway and Pershore are both easily reached from here too, so you could easily make this a stop on a broader day out.
