This campsite sits right next to the Cotswold Farm Park, a working conservation space that preserves rare and traditional farm breeds.
You'll wake up to easy access to daily farm activities where you can meet lambs, piglets, and other animals, learn about heritage farming methods, and explore the animal barns. There are play areas for children scattered about, all just a short walk from your tent, caravan, or glamping accommodation.
The farm was established by Joe Henson several decades ago and is now managed by his son Adam, who presents farming programmes on television. Beyond the animals and facilities here, the campsite occupies an excellent spot for exploring the North Cotswolds countryside. The rolling landscape around you offers plenty of walking opportunities, and you're well-positioned for day trips to nearby villages. Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold are both within a short drive, each with their own distinct character, local shops, and cafes that give you a real sense of what the Cotswolds are about.
Whether you're after a genuine farmland experience with family, a base for countryside walking, or a chance to combine both, this place delivers on both fronts without requiring you to venture far from where you're staying.
