Caravan Club

in Bledington

This caravan and motorhome site in Upper Oddington serves as a solid base for exploring the northern Cotswolds without any fuss.

The village is deliberately understated—there's no entertainment laid on because that's not what you're here for. You've come to get out into the landscape, and the location makes that straightforward.

What works really well is the walking access. Footpaths start right from the village and take you through open fields and past the dry stone walls that characterize this corner of England. You can be out exploring within minutes on foot, so you don't need to pack up and drive before every walk. The local pub is close enough for a casual evening out.

The surrounding towns are where the real draw comes in. Stow-on-the-Wold lies just a short drive away with its independent shops and historic market square, while Moreton-in-Marsh gives you a genuine working market town with its Tuesday market still going strong. Bourton-on-the-Water, recognizable by the stream that runs through its center, is similarly accessible. These villages all grew wealthy during the wool and agricultural boom, and you can read that history in the stone buildings and the way the places are organized. It's genuinely rural England, but you've got modern facilities right there when you need them.
