If you're exploring the northern Cotswolds, the lavender farm near Snowshill village is genuinely worth your time, especially during the summer months from June through August when the fields fill with purple blooms.
Walking through them is as much about the overwhelming scent as it is about the views, and most people end up taking far more photos than they expected to.
The farm runs a shop stocked with lavender products—everything from essential oils and handmade soaps to ingredients you can actually use in cooking. Many days they also have a small café where you can grab a drink or light bite without any pressure to move on quickly. You could easily spend a couple of hours here without feeling rushed.
Snowshill village itself is right there and worth a proper explore once you've finished at the farm. Since you're in the area anyway, Broadway is very close by with its collection of independent shops, galleries, and restaurants. Chipping Campden, another proper market town, is also easily accessible. Do check the farm's website before you go to confirm opening times and whether the lavender will actually be at its peak when you're planning your visit—the whole thing is very much seasonal, so timing matters.
