You'll find this small village just outside Stroud, sitting right at the heart of the Cotswolds' rolling countryside.

It's easy to pass through without stopping, but that would mean missing something worth your time. Randwick has genuine character, shaped by centuries of working landscape and real community life.

The village revolves around St Peter's Church, a medieval structure that speaks to the ordinary people who lived and worked here across generations. The surrounding fields and valleys have been continuously farmed, and you can still read that agricultural heritage in how the land is organized. Walking through and around the village gives you a real sense of how communities actually functioned before modern development reshaped everything.

The true draw is the setting itself. You're positioned perfectly to explore the Five Valleys that define this part of the Cotswolds. The Cotswold Way walking path runs nearby, offering proper rambles through woodland and open country. If you're drawn to traditional crafts, the broader Stroud area has become known for small makers and textile producers, continuing a heritage the region's been recognized for since medieval times.

Stroud itself is just a short distance away, providing all the practical amenities you'll need along with some excellent independent shops and cafes. It makes a good base for exploring this less-touristy corner of the Cotswolds, where the landscape feels genuinely lived-in rather than carefully arranged.
