If you want to push further west into the heart of the Cotswolds, Cirencester rewards the drive with its impressive Roman heritage. Swindon itself is just down the road whenever you need the facilities and amenities of a larger town—the STEAM Museum there is genuinely worth your time if you're interested in railway history.
Essentially, this charging point works as a useful gateway to the region. You can sort out the practical side here, then venture deeper into the Cotswolds or head elsewhere depending on what you fancy doing next.
