Stowell is conveniently positioned between some of the Cotswolds' better-known spots: Northleach lies to the west, and you're roughly positioned between Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold if you're traveling the old Fosse Way route. The location makes it a natural stopping point on longer journeys through the region, though plenty of people find themselves returning simply because the welcome is warm and the coffee deserves the detour.
