Long Carrant Park

in Ashton Under Hill

Long Carrant Park is a camping and caravan site near Sedgeberrow that works well as a base for exploring the North Cotswolds and Vale of Evesham.

You can bring a tent, touring caravan, motorhome, or book one of the static holiday homes depending on what suits your trip. The grounds are well-kept with decent facilities and plenty of room for families to unwind between days out.

The location is genuinely useful for getting outdoors. Carrant Brook runs nearby with pleasant walking routes through the countryside, and you've got good cycling potential from the site. Broadway is just a short drive away if you want to wander around independent shops and galleries, while Evesham sits conveniently close by for practical needs or a bit of history—it's a proper medieval market town on the River Avon with significant heritage tied to its old abbey. If you're keen to push further, Winchcombe and Cheltenham are within easy reach and offer different architectural flavours to explore.

The real advantage is that the park actually feels like somewhere pleasant to return to at the end of the day, rather than just somewhere to sleep. Combined with how centrally it's positioned for the region's varied attractions without requiring long drives to anything worthwhile, it strikes a decent balance between having a comfortable base and being close enough to everything that matters.
