Hadley House is a bed-and-breakfast located in Broadway, one of the North Cotswolds' largest and most significant villages, making it an excellent base for exploring the region.
Broadway itself deserves time to appreciate—it has an unusually broad High Street lined with honey-coloured stone buildings housing galleries, independent shops, and restaurants that draw visitors throughout the year. The village developed along an old coaching route, which accounts for its generous layout and established character.
From here you can access some genuinely rewarding walks, particularly the route up to Broadway Tower, which offers expansive views across the surrounding landscape. You're also well-positioned for day trips to nearby villages such as Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh, or further afield to Stratford-upon-Avon if you want to explore Shakespeare-related sites. The rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere genuinely welcoming, which matters when you return tired from a day out. The real benefit of staying in one place rather than moving accommodation each night is having somewhere proper to return to and unpack into. It works just as well whether you're planning days of walking, browsing galleries and independent shops, or simply absorbing the local atmosphere and pace.
