Costas Bonitas sits right in the center of Devizes, a market town with genuine working character.
The shop itself stocks gifts and souvenirs that actually work as proper mementos rather than throwaway tourist items, making it a natural stop if you're spending time exploring.
Devizes has plenty to keep you occupied beyond the shop. The Kennet and Avon Canal runs through town, and walking along it brings you to the remarkable Caen Hill Locks, where you can watch boats navigate the system. The town centre has real market town energy with independent shops worth dipping into, and there's Wadworth Brewery, which has operated from here for generations and still brings their distinctive shire horses around town occasionally. The Wadworth Visitor Centre offers insight into that side of local history if you want more detail.
The historic streets themselves are worth a proper wander, with plenty of architectural interest dotted throughout. Once you've explored the town, Costas Bonitas is a convenient spot to pick up something to take home or find a gift for someone back home. Both Marlborough and Chippenham are easily reached from here if you're planning to venture further afield and see more of the surrounding area.
