You'll find Cedars Bourton, a gift shop positioned right on the main thoroughfare through Bourton-on-the-Water, an ideal spot to pick up souvenirs and presents while you're in the area.
The shop carries a good selection of local crafts, Cotswolds-themed items, home décor, and treats, so there's plenty worth browsing as you pass through.
Bourton-on-the-Water itself deserves more than a quick visit. The village is built around the shallow River Windrush, which runs straight through the centre and is crossed by distinctive low bridges that have become the village's signature feature. You can easily spend an afternoon here moving between attractions like the Model Village and Birdland, stopping for cream tea or a pub lunch along the way.
Cedars sits naturally on the route most visitors take through the village, so you'll come across it without any detours as you walk by the river and explore other sights. While the shop is relatively recent compared to Bourton's longer retail history, it continues the village's tradition of catering well to the many visitors drawn to its character.
The location also works well as a base for exploring further afield. Stow-on-the-Wold is nearby, as are the Slaughters villages, making Bourton a practical central point for wider Cotswolds exploration.
