Boutique 3 sits in Stratton, a quiet residential village just north of Cirencester, which many consider the Cotswolds' main town.
The boutique offers its own distinctive shopping experience, and you can easily pair a visit here with exploring the wider area.
Stratton itself has an unhurried feel. The honey-coloured stone buildings characteristic of the Cotswolds are scattered throughout, and it's worth taking a leisurely walk around to see the local church and soak in the village atmosphere before or after you browse.
Cirencester is only a short distance away and gives you plenty more to do. The town has significant Roman heritage, which you can learn about at the Corinium Museum, and you'll find independent shops, cafes, and restaurants spread across the town centre. The Abbey Grounds offer pleasant open space for a wander. Whether you're looking for something specific at the boutique or want to spend time learning about local history and enjoying what the larger town has to offer, Stratton works well as a base for getting to know this part of the Cotswolds. You could easily spend half a day or longer here without running out of things to explore.
