Upton-upon-Severn sits on the water, and that shapes the way you spend time here: slowly, with an eye on the river and no particular hurry. That balance tells you something. This is somewhere you come to linger over a long lunch, walk off the afternoon, and stay the night rather than tick off a list.

A good few hours might start at Clive's Fruit Farm on the edge of town, where the shop and the farm produce are worth the detour before you've even reached the river. From there, head into the centre for lunch — The Three Kings for something traditional, Banjos for something lighter, or Thishna Cuisine if you're after a proper sit-down meal.
