Wyre Piddle is a working village in Worcestershire, situated a few miles south of Evesham.

The name derives from the River Piddle running through it, with Wyre possibly indicating a former nearby settlement. What you'll find here is a real community going about its business rather than somewhere set up for visitors, with St Peter's Church, scattered homes, and proper farmland stretching around you.

Walking and cycling suit this place best. The church itself dates from medieval times and rewards a visit if you appreciate old stonework and design. The farmland surrounding the village offers good walking territory, with footpaths connecting to neighbouring villages and opening into the wider Vale of Evesham landscape. This is working countryside you can actually explore rather than a polished tourist zone.

The larger towns nearby make useful bases. Evesham sits close by with shops, restaurants, and more varied attractions. Pershore, a short distance away, provides similar services plus pleasant walks along the River Avon. The A44 runs through the area, giving you access to Worcester and further destinations if you want to travel outward.

The village is genuinely quiet, which appeals to some visitors and feels too subdued for others. There's no accommodation or places to eat within Wyre Piddle itself, so you'll want to plan visits around facilities in the surrounding towns.
