Witches Knickers is an independent boutique in Stratton where you can browse a carefully chosen selection of items you won't find in standard high street shops.
Opening hours
- Mon–Sat
- 10:00–16:30
The stock ranges from distinctive fashion pieces and interesting accessories to unusual gifts—the kind of place where stumbling across something worth having, whether for yourself or as a present, feels genuinely rewarding. The experience here is more personal than what you'd get from a chain store, which is really part of the draw.
Stratton sits just north of Cirencester, the Cotswolds' largest market town and the region's main hub. It's worth combining a visit to the boutique with exploring what Cirencester itself has to offer. The town's Roman heritage is thoroughly documented at the Corinium Museum, there's an active market square at its centre, and plenty of restaurants and pubs throughout. The town itself is lined with traditional Cotswold stone buildings that create a pleasant backdrop for a casual wander.
Stratton has the character you'd expect from a village with real history, with architecture that reflects its past. It works well as a stop if you're heading further into the Cotswolds, or as part of a wider day out exploring the Cirencester area. You get an authentic feel for village life while staying close enough to larger amenities whenever you need them.
