Park House

in Bladon

Park House is a bed-and-breakfast in Bladon, a village with deep roots in British history.

It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a comfortable, personal stay and use it as your base for exploring everything the area has to offer.

Bladon draws people mainly for St Martin's Church, where Sir Winston Churchill and his family are buried. It's a peaceful spot that many visitors make a point of seeking out. Just a short distance away in Woodstock sits Blenheim Palace, where Churchill was born. The palace itself is a striking example of English Baroque architecture surrounded by extensive parkland, and you could easily spend a full day wandering through the rooms and grounds.

From Park House, you're ideally placed to venture further into the North Cotswolds. There are good walking routes through the rolling countryside, and plenty of independent shops in the market towns scattered across the region. If you want something with more of a city feel, Oxford's historic buildings, university colleges, and busy town centre are within easy reach.

It's a location that gives you the best of both worlds, really. You get the quiet of rural life combined with straightforward access to some genuinely significant historical sites and attractions that are worth taking the time to visit properly.
