This bed and breakfast occupies a converted railway station house in Broadway, one of the Cotswolds' most visited villages.
The building itself carries genuine history—you'll be sleeping in rooms where passengers once arrived and departed—and mornings begin with a freshly cooked breakfast.
Broadway makes for rewarding exploration. The broad main street is lined with honey-coloured stone buildings that give the village its distinctive character, and you'll find independent shops, art galleries, and cafes worth spending time in. Most visitors walk up to Broadway Tower for views stretching across several counties on clear days. If railway heritage appeals to you, the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway operates from a restored station here, running period trains out into the surrounding countryside.
The location works particularly well as a base for exploring further afield. Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Moreton-in-Marsh are all a short drive away, so you can visit other villages and towns without moving accommodation each night. This means whether you're primarily interested in walking, drawn by the area's history, or simply want to experience the landscape at a leisurely pace, you're well positioned to see what the Cotswolds has to offer without constantly repacking.
