This small Worcestershire village sits in the Vale of Evesham, just a few miles south of Evesham town itself.

It's the sort of place where an afternoon spent wandering country lanes gives you a genuine taste of rural England away from the more travelled paths.

The village clusters around St Michael's Church, with a scattering of cottages and farms, and open countryside flowing out in every direction. The church itself rewards a visit if you're keen on local history—it retains some interesting medieval features despite restoration work over the centuries. The landscape around you is working agricultural land, dotted with orchards and market gardens that carry on the Vale's long tradition of growing produce.

Little Comberton's real advantage is that it offers access to the wider Cotswolds region without the tourist pressure. You're well-placed for exploring nearby Evesham, which sits on the river and has genuine medieval history as a trading centre. From here you can walk or drive to larger settlements like Pershore with its remarkable Abbey, or venture further into the Cotswolds heartland.

The village comes into its own on foot. Several pleasant country walks fan out through farmland and woodland. It works well as a base if you're after an authentic experience of Worcestershire rather than ticking off major sights, and the quiet roads also make it good cycling country if that appeals to you.
