This cycling loop takes you through the quieter Worcestershire countryside just beyond where the official Cotswolds boundary ends.
The route winds through Kempsey, Norton, and Littleworth along quiet lanes that feel wonderfully removed from busier roads. You'll find the terrain mostly flat or gently rolling, so it's ideal if you want a relaxed ride rather than something demanding.
What makes this loop special is the combination of open fields and genuine rural character. As you cycle, you'll pass through small hamlets and villages, each with its own identity—often anchored by a historic church or a welcoming pub where you can stop for refreshment. On clearer days, you can see across to the Malvern Hills in the distance, which gives the landscape a real sense of space and openness.
This is the sort of ride for people who genuinely enjoy the rhythm of village life and aren't rushing anywhere. The unhurried pace suits the scenery perfectly. Being so close to Worcester makes it a straightforward escape from the city if you want to slip away for a few hours. It's particularly good if you've done some of the busier Cotswolds routes and fancy something with fewer other cyclists about.
