St Peters Garden Centre sits just south of Worcester, making it a straightforward stop if you're travelling through the region or heading towards Malvern or Tewkesbury.
What started as a traditional garden centre has grown into something considerably larger that appeals well beyond serious gardeners.
The plants section is genuinely extensive, covering everything from bedding plants and shrubs to mature trees, along with all the tools and accessories you'd need. But there's plenty more to explore. The food hall stocks local produce and artisan goods, so it's worth browsing if you're after quality ingredients or ready-made treats. The Orangery restaurant is a proper focal point, busy with people stopping in for coffee, light lunches, or afternoon tea throughout the day. You'll also find an aquatics department, a decent range of gifts and homeware, and seasonal displays that get quite elaborate, particularly around Christmas.
The centre has become something of a local hub over the years, and it's easy to see why. It's the kind of place where you can easily spend a couple of hours without feeling rushed, whether you're serious about plants or just after a pleasant morning out. If you're based in Worcester or the wider area, it's a natural destination. Even if you're further afield in the Cotswolds proper, it works well as a convenient break on your journey through the region.
