Jai Ho is an Indian restaurant in Bishop's Cleeve, at the northern end of the Cotswolds, and it's a genuine favourite with both locals and visitors exploring the area.
After a day of walking the hills or checking out attractions nearby, it's the kind of place where you can properly relax over dinner. The kitchen does classical Indian cooking alongside their own specials, using fresh ingredients across curries and tandoori dishes. They're good at catering to different preferences too, so whether you want something gentle or seriously hot, they'll sort you out.
The space has a relaxed, friendly vibe that works equally well whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a longer meal with company. Bishop's Cleeve itself is a village worth spending time in, which makes this a natural spot to stop if you're based in the locality. If you're travelling from further out, it's only a short drive north of Cheltenham, a proper regency town with theatre, decent shopping, and plenty of other places to stay and eat if you're after more options.
It's really the kind of place that does what it does well, giving you a chance to recharge after exploring the surrounding countryside.
