St Peter's Church, now a community space and café, has a climbable tower providing genuine views across the town.
What makes this location particularly valuable is the range of destinations within reach. Head north-west into the Cotswolds proper and you'll find rolling hills and characteristic villages. Alternatively, the North Wessex Downs are accessible, along with significant prehistoric sites including Avebury Stone Circle and Silbury Hill.
