Arlebrook House is a Certificated Location site for caravans and motorhomes, located just outside the village of Haresfield in the heart of the Cotswolds.
If you're looking for a genuinely peaceful base where you can properly unwind, this place delivers exactly that. The site itself is wonderfully quiet, giving you space to relax and take in the countryside views from your pitch.
The location works brilliantly for exploration too. The Cotswold Way walking route runs close by, so you can spend days rambling through rolling hills and villages if you fancy it. When you want to venture further afield, you're well positioned. Haresfield itself is a traditional village where you can experience everyday local life. Head north-west toward Gloucester and you'll find the historic cathedral and docks easily accessible. South-east takes you to Stroud, which has a thriving arts scene and a popular farmers market. The village of Painswick is also worth exploring, famous for its rococo garden and the remarkable yew trees planted in the churchyard centuries ago.
This whole area was shaped by the wool trade, which explains the impressive churches and substantial period houses you'll encounter throughout the region. The appeal of staying here is that you get genuine rest and quiet without having to sacrifice access to interesting places to visit and things to do.
