Located on Union Street in the heart of Stroud, this gallery showcases contemporary work from local and regional artists.
Opening hours

- 9:00–15:00
You'll see paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and textiles displayed in a space that genuinely reflects what's happening in the creative community right now, rather than feeling like a fixed museum collection. The selection changes regularly, so there's always something new to discover.
Stroud itself has quite a journey behind it. The town prospered during the industrial era through wool and cloth production, but it's completely reinvented itself. Today it's known for drawing independent-minded people and artists who've established a genuine creative culture, and the gallery sits at the centre of that. Walking around gives you a real sense of what the community is building.
The location works well for exploring further. The high street has excellent independent shops worth browsing, and if you visit on a Saturday, the Farmers' Market is worth your time. The Five Valleys surrounding the town offer plenty of walking routes if you want to get outdoors. For a wider Cotswolds trip, Nailsworth and Cirencester are both easily accessible from here, making Stroud a natural hub that connects well to other parts of the region.
