The Beeches Farmhouse is a traditional bed-and-breakfast located in Holt, a village on the western edge of the Cotswolds.
It's the kind of place where you can settle in for a proper night's rest before heading out to explore, with that genuine homely comfort you're looking for when you're travelling through the region.
Holt itself has a real community spirit to it. The village is quiet and unpretentious, with pleasant walks along its lanes and a historic parish church worth poking around. You can spend a peaceful hour or two by the green if the mood takes you.
What makes staying here particularly useful is how well-positioned you are. Bradford-on-Avon, the old canal town with its Saxon church and ancient bridge, is just a short drive away, along with its independent shops and character. If you fancy a bigger day out, Bath is easily reachable too—the Roman Baths, the Abbey, and all the museums that go with a proper Georgian city are within reasonable reach.
The wider Cotswolds stretch out around you with all their golden stone villages, rolling countryside, walking paths, and decent pubs. So while The Beeches gives you a comfortable base with a proper welcome, you're also ideally placed to get stuck into whatever this corner of England has to offer, whether that's history, landscape, or just wandering around villages with a good coffee in hand.
