This modern hotel on Cirencester's Stratton side works well as a practical base for exploring the area and the wider Cotswolds.

As a Premier Inn, you get well-maintained rooms with everything you need for a comfortable night, and an attached restaurant means breakfast and dinner are available without needing to leave the premises. If you're driving an electric vehicle, there are dedicated charging points on site.

The hotel won't deliver the historical character of older Cotswolds properties, but what it offers instead is dependable consistency and a genuinely useful location. You're only a short drive from Cirencester town centre, widely regarded as the Capital of the Cotswolds. It's worth spending time in the town itself. The Corinium Museum holds substantial Roman remains and heritage, there's a lively market square where you can experience everyday local life, and the Abbey Grounds provide a peaceful place to rest. From here, the many towns and villages that define the Cotswolds are easily within reach, making this a straightforward and practical base from which to venture out and discover what the wider region has to offer.
