The cafe sits conveniently nearby if you want to grab something before or after visiting the house, though plenty of people come just for the cafe and the calm, unhurried atmosphere that characterises this part of the Cotswolds. It's an easy addition to a scenic drive or circular walk.
When you're ready to venture further, Broadway is only a short drive away—a lively market town with plenty of character—and Winchcombe, another historic town worth exploring, is equally accessible. The whole area works well for spending an afternoon or a full day moving between villages and stopping whenever something catches your eye.
