Just outside Witney, this working plant nursery is worth visiting if you're in the mood to browse growing stock or pick up something for your garden.
Unlike a formal display garden, it functions as an active nursery where you can wander through beds of seasonal bedding plants, shrubs, and perennials. The staff know their plants well and will happily suggest varieties that might suit your conditions if you're uncertain what to choose. You'll regularly find interesting seasonal specimens worth taking home.
It's not a major destination in itself, but it's a genuinely pleasant place to spend an hour if you enjoy plants and want to see what's available. The visit works best when paired with time in Witney itself, which sits just a short distance away. Witney is a lively market town with real substance to it—its character is still shaped by its industrial past in blanket manufacturing, and you can trace that heritage throughout the place. The market square has plenty of appeal, there are good independent shops to explore, and the town rewards a proper look around. From Witney you're also well positioned to reach other Cotswolds towns and villages, making it a natural base for exploring further afield across the region.
