Knightsbridge is a small hamlet in the heart of the Cotswolds, made up of just a handful of homes scattered across the countryside.
It's the kind of place where you can experience the quieter, less commercialised side of Gloucestershire—a real contrast to the busier tourist spots elsewhere in the region. The buildings here are constructed from the characteristic honey-coloured stone you'll see throughout the area, surrounded by green fields and gentle rolling hills that define the landscape.
There aren't any specific attractions within the hamlet itself, but that's rather the point. This is somewhere to come if you want to take things slowly, enjoy a peaceful walk, and simply absorb the tranquil rural atmosphere. It works particularly well as a base for exploring the wider Cotswolds. Cheltenham is close by, offering shops, restaurants, and cultural events whenever you fancy a bit more activity. Gloucester, home to its impressive cathedral, is also easily accessible. From here you're well positioned to venture out to other charming villages and tackle some of the excellent walking trails that crisscross the region. Think of Knightsbridge as a serene launching point for discovering the broader character of the Cotswolds, while offering an authentic slice of rural life right on your doorstep.
