The accommodation offers hearty breakfasts to fuel your days, and the village location gives you that rare combination of peaceful countryside living with straightforward access to some genuinely varied attractions.

Bushley itself is a quiet village, perfect if you're after a break from the usual tourist crowds. It's ideally positioned for branching out in different directions. Head east and you'll soon find yourself among the rolling hills and villages that characterize the Cotswolds—it's an excellent spot to start walks or drives toward Winchcombe or Broadway. In the opposite direction, the Malvern Hills rise to the west, offering dramatic terrain and rewarding views for those up for more demanding walking routes. South of the village, Tewkesbury is just a short drive away, a historic market town centered around its magnificent Abbey at the confluence of the Rivers Severn and Avon. The town is worth visiting for riverside walks and its medieval street layout.

What makes Jessop House particularly useful is that it lets you explore quite different landscapes—whether you're interested in Cotswolds walking, the wilder Malvern scenery, history and architecture, or simply time spent in the countryside—while still having the same comfortable place to return to each evening.
