North of Gloucester, Elmbridge Court began as a manor house but has evolved significantly over the centuries.
Today it functions as a modern business park, with commercial offices and local council services occupying the buildings rather than operating as a heritage site open to the public. The estate has adapted to serve contemporary business needs, and while the name preserves its historical roots, much of the original grandeur has been replaced by practical, functional spaces designed for working professionals. This is very much a commercial hub rather than a destination for exploring period interiors or taking guided tours of a historic house. That said, you're well-positioned if you're in the area and want to venture further afield. Gloucester, just a short distance away, boasts a magnificent cathedral that's absolutely worth visiting. Cheltenham is equally close and offers the charm of an elegant market town with excellent shops, restaurants, and plenty to explore. While Elmbridge Court itself isn't geared toward visitors, its location makes it convenient if you're planning to spend time in either of these two substantial towns nearby.
