Eastrip is a small rural hamlet where the pace of life feels genuinely slower.

The buildings here are built from that characteristic honey-coloured stone you'll see throughout the Cotswolds, giving the settlement a cohesive, understated character. There aren't significant shops or major attractions to tick off a list, and that's really the point—this is a place designed for quiet rather than activity.

What draws people here is the opportunity to walk at leisure along country lanes, take in views across rolling farmland, and simply be somewhere calm. It's an excellent base if you want a peaceful spot to stay while exploring the broader area around you. When you need proper supplies, restaurants, or more substantial historical sites to visit, Malmesbury is only a short drive away. That market town is worth a visit in its own right—it has a remarkable Abbey and considerable heritage to discover. Tetbury, another nearby town, is equally accessible and known for its antique shops if you're keen on browsing or want a bit more choice for eating out.

The hamlet works best if you're someone who values a retreat from busier places, somewhere to base yourself while making forays into the surrounding villages and towns rather than expecting to find everything on your doorstep.
