This Grade II listed manor house sits in the quiet village of Bredon's Norton, at the base of Bredon Hill.
Dating partly from the 17th century, it's a fine example of local Cotswolds architecture, built from stone and reflecting centuries of settlement in the area. The house remains a working farmhouse and private residence, so you won't be able to step inside, but you can appreciate its character and craftsmanship from the village lanes as you wander around, observing how it sits within the surrounding rural landscape.
What really draws people here is the peaceful village itself and the countryside beyond. A walk through Bredon's Norton gives you a genuine sense of how communities have lived in these parts across generations, and if you fancy a proper hike, the climb up Bredon Hill offers sweeping views across the Vale of Evesham. When you need a break or want to explore further afield, Pershore is just north, where you'll find abbey gardens and local shops to browse. Head west and you'll reach Tewkesbury, a larger market town with its impressive abbey, historic centre, and a better range of places to eat and stay. It's the sort of place that encourages you to slow down and really take in the English countryside that surrounds you.
