Sheepdrove is a tiny hamlet in the southern Cotswolds where things move at a slower pace.

You won't find a traditional village centre or typical tourist sites here, but that's rather the point. The landscape around it is open countryside and farmland, and the main reason people visit is the organic farm that operates on the land. It's become a destination in its own right, hosting events, conferences, and weddings in its sustainable facilities, so you'll often find the hamlet bustling with people attending these occasions. If you're after something quieter, the area is excellent for gentle walks and taking in the rural surroundings without crowds or development. Lambourn is just a short drive away, which makes Sheepdrove a useful base if you're interested in the horse racing scene there. Overall, it's the kind of place you come to when you want to properly relax rather than fill an itinerary.
